Ambassador Detail

Chris Clarke
Founder and CEO, Nitro Group

Chris Clarke was born in Melbourne, Australia. At the age of 23 he founded Pure Creative, which quickly expanded into seven offices and became one of Asia’s hottest creative agencies.

Subsequently, Chris founded Nitro, establishing offices in Shanghai, Melbourne, London, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and New York. Nitro’s global client base includes some of the industry’s most impressive marketers: Mars, Foot Locker, Volvo, Kraft and Nike.

Chris is passionate about and active in many philanthropic endeavours. He founded Virtual Communities, an Internet company bridging the information gap between the rich and the poor.

He sits on the board of Millennium Promise, which supplies villages in need around the world with the basic essential elements to become self sustaining, and the board of Malaria No More, an organisation dedicated to the worldwide elimination of malaria – a disease that kills over a million children every year.

Chris motivates all of his offices with the idea that it’s not enough to do great for ourselves, if we are not also doing good for the world.
