Full programme of c&binet speakers revealed

The final list of speakers and presenters at c&binet forum 2009 has been announced. Among the names taking part this year will be 19 Entertainment Chairman and Founder Simon Fuller and Hat Trick Productions co-founder and CEO Jimmy Mulville, who will join Ingenious Media Founder and Chief Executive Patrick McKenna to discuss the challenge of how to increase the flow of investment in to the creative industries. The c&binet forum will also host Harish Dayani, Chief Executive of Moser Baer Entertainment Ltd, who will present a masterclass revealing how India tackled DVD piracy and won.

Sponsors sign up to support c&binet

Global law firm Clifford Chance, the private bank Coutts & Co, and web streaming specialists Kinura have been confirmed as sponsors for this year’s c&binet event for the creative industries, taking place between 26-28 October at The Grove in Hertfordshire.

C&binet (the Creativity and Business International Network) will bring together up to 300 people who drive the creative industries sector including business leaders, new creative talent, investors and overseas governments to discuss the key issues affecting the creative economy.

As part of their partnership deal Kinura will be providing flash video streaming for virtual delegates, allowing the online community to watch the debate live through the c&binet website.

The flagship event will explore several key themes including access to finance, developing talent, new business models for online content and how best to secure creative rights. Keynote speakers include Jean-Bernard Lévy, Chairman of Vivendi, Elio Leoni-Sceti, Chief Executive of EMI Music and Lord Mandelson.
