e-Summit Resources

Introduction

Andrew Pinder, the e-Envoy

The e-Summit, held in London on 19 & 20 November 2002, was the first of its kind, bringing together an international group of e-government, e-citizen and e-commerce policy-makers and opinion-formers. The e-Summit website includes:

World's Most Effective Policies for the e-Economy Report

The event marked the publication of the World's Most Effective Policies for the e-Economy Report, which assesses the performance across the e-agenda of nine countries - Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, the UK and the United States. We invited my international counterparts from the benchmarked countries plus organisations such as the EU and OECD, other Government departments and the private sector to the event, to address areas of the e-agenda covered in the report.

UK online Annual Report

The event also saw the publication of the UK online Annual Report setting out the Government's e-strategy for the coming year.
