Single Payment SchemeThe scheme introduced by EC Council Regulation 1782/2003, will replace most existing crop and livestock payments as from 1 January 2005. Arable Area Payments Scheme (AAPS)The Scheme offers payments per hectare to growers of cereals, oilseeds, protein crops, linseed, flax, and hemp for fibre. Payments are also made for “set-aside” (land taken out of food production) subject to certain conditions. The following scheme information is available:
