LONDON BOMB BLASTS

London Underground sign
On the morning of Thursday 7 July Central London was attacked by four terrorist explosions. The attack was directed at London's public transport infrastructure causing a number of fatalities and many casualties.

An incident phone number has been set up. Foreign nationals wishing to make enquiries about relatives etc who might have been involved should contact: +44 (0)20 7158 0010.

A Type Talk number is also available for people with hearing difficulties: 1 800 1 0870 1566 344.

When the Foreign office receives information about Foreign Nationals injured in Thursday's incidents it will be passed to their relevant country's Foreign Missions in London so that they can carry out Consular activity and inform next-of-kin where appropriate.
