World AIDS Day: 1 December

Nearly 40 million people in the world are living with HIV/AIDS, the majority of these in sub-Saharan Africa. The United Nations, in conjunction with the World Health Organisation, has declared 1 December World AIDS Day.

If you would like some ideas to help your school mark World AIDS Day you could search for teaching resources using 'HIV/AIDS' in the topic list.
