RNAS Culdrose Air Day 2006
Wednesday 12 July 2006
FAR MORE THAN JUST AN AIR SHOW !
A spectacular flying display will fill the skies with the awesome might of some of the world’s most powerful aircraft during this year's RNAS Culdrose Air Day. The programme is not yet finalised but the breathtaking show will see the welcome return to the westcountry of many old and familiar displays, including the Red Arrows, as well as a number of new and exciting features. The whole programme will guarantee that Culdrose Air Day, the only International Air Day in the south-west this summer, will be a non-stop, fun-filled, action-packed, great day out for the whole family to enjoy from the moment the gates open at 9.30 am.
But Air Day is not just about aircraft. The whole day is filled with plenty to see and do on the ground. The hangars will be full of naval and other interesting exhibitions, where visitors can meet the aircrew who fly and maintain the aircraft and see these incredible machines close-up, and outside there are trade stands, simulators, fairground rides and much, much more, making RNAS Culdrose Air Day ….. A GREAT DAY OUT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
