Setting the Royal Navy site as your homepage

Internet Explorer 5 on the PC

  • On the main menu click on Tools then select Internet Options.
  • Under the General tab you will see a box at the top where you can enter a URL.
  • Type in the URL as seen highlighted above.
  • Then click OK [if you are on the page you want when you open this window, you can just press the Use Current key].


Internet Explorer 4 on the PC

  • On the main menu click on View then select Internet Options.
  • Select Homepage from the category list.
  • Type in the URL as seen highlighted above.
  • Click OK.


Internet Explorer 3 on the PC

  • On the main menu click on View then select Options.
  • Select the Navigation tab.
  • Type in the URL as seen highlighted above.
  • Click OK.


Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1

  • On the main menu click on View then select Options.
  • Select Navigation from the category list.
  • Type in the URL as seen highlighted above.
  • Click OK.

Opera 3+

  • On the main menu bar click on Navigation and select Set home page.
  • In the Global Home Page field, type the URL as seen highlighted above.
  • Click OK.
  • On exiting Opera, select the Save Windows checkbox.
  • On launching Opera, you will need to click on Home in the toolbar.


America Online 3+

  • On the main menu click on Members then select Preferences.
  • Select WWW icon from the category list.
  • Type the URL as highlighted above.
  • Click OK.
