Royal Navy Flies the Flag at the Glasgow River Festival

Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th July 2006

The Royal Navy will help Glaswegians celebrate the River Clyde’s historic past, present and future by taking part in the Glasgow River Festival on the 15 and 16 July.

From the rousing music of the Royal Marine Band Scotland, to displays from an unarmed combat team and a chance to visit a warship there will be plenty of chances for people to find out more about the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

Spectacular Summer Musical Extravaganza for 2006

RM Band Launch of Music Night Plymouth’s Royal Citadel, home to 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery, is set to host the outdoor spectacular ‘Music of the Night’ for the eighth time this year.

NAVY DAYS 06 is being held at Devonport Naval Base in Plymouth , Europe 's biggest Naval Base, from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August 2006. Over 25 Ships and submarines will be open to visitors.
