Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM)
This website features the Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM), which is the technical accounting guide that complements guidance on the handling of public funds published separately by the relevant authorities. The Manual is prepared following consultation with the Financial Reporting Advisory Board and is issued by the relevant authorities in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

GSRweb
GSRweb was launched in March 2004 to provide information on Government Social Research and improve communication in the GSR community. It provides links to:

  • tools for better policy making, evaluation and delivery
  • methodology guidance including Magenta Book, articles and research outputs, which support good practice in Government Social Research
  • news, online links to key research resources, research outputs from government departments etc
  • information on careers and professional development.

OGC works with public sector organisations to help them improve their efficiency, gain better value for money from their commercial activities and deliver improved success from programmes and projects.
Policy Hub
Policy Hub is a web resource launched in March 2002 which aims to improve the way public policy is shaped and delivered. It provides many examples of initiatives, projects, tools and case studies that support better policy making and delivery, as well as extensive guidance on the role of research and evidence in the evaluation of policy. Policy Hub is updated frequently with news of latest research outputs in key policy areas plus a free email alert service.
