NICE opens up its committee meetings to the public
From June 2008 the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is opening its standing committee meetings to public observers as part of its commitment to openness and transparency.

Events
NICE holds its own annual conference each year, and exhibits at a number of events organised by other healthcare organisations, to ensure that those with an interest in the work of NICE have an understanding of the Institute's purpose, processes, products and contribution to healthcare.
Public meetings
Many NICE meetings are open to members of the public, including the NICE Board meetings, appeals against draft guidance and sessions of its standing advisory commitees. Anyone can register to attend NICE public meetings.
NICE newsletters and alerts
The latest copy of the NICE e-newsletter and Into practice, our newsletter for implementers, is mailed out automatically each month to all registered users on the site.
