Screening for Down's Syndrome

NHS trusts and PCTs can use the attached model of best practice to help deliver the requirements of the Priorities and Planning Framework (for improving access to services for disadvantaged groups and areas, particularly antenatal and child health screening services) and the Local Delivery Plan guidance (to make clear what procedures will be put into place locally to ensure that all women, irrespective of age, are offered Down’s Syndrome screening).
