Shared learning

The NHS Employers Knowledge Base section provides a way for the NHS to learn from the experience of other organisations through shared learning, case studies and examples of good practice.

Initiatives can then be developed and adapted to suit individual organisations. The pages are frequently updated but rely on input from all NHS organisations to ensure examples submitted are kept up-to-date and fully supports employers in recruitment, retention and return within the NHS, across all staff groups.

Examples come from a number of sources including:

  • IWL Practice Plus accreditation including Flexible working; healthy workplaces; training & development; staff communication & involvement
  • Childcare Strategy and Carer Support
  • Back in Work awards
  • Equality & Diversity initiatives
  • Recruitment Campaigns
