NHS Employers provides information and guidance to NHS organisations on a range of issues relating to pay, terms and conditions. We also manage negotiations with NHS trade unions on behalf of employers and under a mandate from the Department of Health.
We have created this area of the website - the knowledge base - to share research and reports, and to capture examples of best practice within the NHS.
We do have a number of agenda for change case studies that we gathered from the early implementer sites these are available on request.
KSF case studies
The NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (NHS KSF) is the career and pay progression strand of Agenda for Change (AfC), the NHS pay system. It is mandatory for all Agenda for Change staff and should be fully implemented by all NHS organisations.
