Current Agenda for Change pay rates can be found here. Agenda for Change pay ratesThe new NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook (published in January 2005) contains the Agenda for Change pay rates that are effective from 1 October 2004, 1 April 2005 and 1 April 2006. Staff assimilated to Agenda for Change should be paid in accordance with these published pay scales. Whitley pay scalesThe small minority of staff who have not yet moved on to the new pay system and who remain on the old Whitley pay scales, will have access to the Agenda for Change pay rates on assimilation to Agenda for Change, with any arrears due backdated to 1 October 2004. Staff still paid on the Whitley pay rates will have access to rates effective from 1 April 2005 until assimilation to Agenda for Change. The Whitley rates (from 1 April 2005) will have to be taken into account in the calculation of any arrears of pay at assimilation to Agenda for Change in accordance with the provisions in Section 46 of the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service handbook. The uplifted rates of pay and allowances are listed on the right of this page. The Whitley pay and allowances have been replaced by Agenda for Change. They were adjusted for the last time in April 2005. Last reviewed 23 Jun 2006 |
