In June 2005 the Department of Health (DH) published a review of ambulance services in England: "Taking Healthcare to the Patient: Transforming NHS Ambulance Services". The role of NHS Employers is to support the ambulance service through the HR implications of TNHSAS by representing their views at a national level and by providing guidance.
