NHS Jobs, the e-recruitment service for the NHS, is the number one recruitment site in the UK, attracting more visits than any other recruitment site.

In 2007 the website attracted over 28 million visits and over 2 million applicants applied for jobs online. Managed by NHS Employers, the NHS Jobs service provides a one stop shop for NHS recruitment. Used by every NHS trust in England and Wales, NHS Jobs saves the NHS over £40million a year.

Over 460 NHS employers are now registered with the service, posting around 10000 adverts between them at any one time.

NHS Jobs is a 'user-led' service that responds to the needs of its employers across the NHS. This is facilitated by a network of regional user groups which are hosted by individual SHAs providing an opportunity for all users to gain a clear understanding of the service, influence future enhancements, network with their colleagues and the NHS Jobs team and share good practice.
