Community Projects

Community Group Photo The Outreach Department works with local communities on creative projects which encourage a greater understanding of England’s diverse histories, and help to build strong communities through promoting sense of place and identity.
Projects range from community archaeology digs to creating local heritage gardens, from arts projects exploring issues around heritage and regeneration to collecting oral histories.
