Description:

This book offers ideas for a one-day event exploring the global trade in fashion and sportswear. The activities are suitable for secondary level teaching, and introduce several ideas behind fair trade, including: who makes our clothes, where they are made, and challenges steretypes about garment workers in South East Asia. The book also explores other ideas including workers' rights, and re-using materials. Many of the activities are hands-on, including a session in re-using old clothes and a drama performance.
