RDS statistics on immigration, asylum and nationality cover:

arrivals, admissions and refusals at air, sea and
Channel Tunnel ports in the UK

applications and decisions and appeals, and numbers
asylum seekers supported, detained and removed
applications
for an extension of stay, including settlement
enforcement
action against illegal entrants and persons subject
to deportation
persons
detained under immigration powers
immigration
appeals
applications
and decisions in respect of British citizenship.
Analyses
by nationality are available for all the above statistics,
with the exception of recent data on enforcement.
Most of the data are taken from administrative records. However,
the data on passenger admissions are compiled from a sample
of landing cards.
The main statistics are published but more detailed data are
available on request, for which a charge may be made.
