Many
of the Home Office key statistical outputs are designated as ‘National
Statistics’ where they are produced in accordance with the
arrangements set out in the Framework for National Statistics and
in line with the principles set out in the National Statistics Code
of Practice and its 12 supporting Protocols.

The Home Office is required to publish and maintain a general Statement
of Compliance with the National Statistics Code of Practice and
12 Protocols.
Home Office statement on its statistical
release practice
The Release Practices Protocol requires the Home Office to publish
and maintain a statement describing how the standards set out in
the Protocol apply to each of its releases.
