The Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, today welcomed the results of the Sunday's elections in Serbia.

'The people of Serbia demonstrated yesterday their determination to achieve reconciliation, peace and prosperity. President Tadic has signalled his commitment to Serbia's European future. I support this ambition, and spoke to Serbian Foreign Minister Jeremic last night to underline the UK's readiness to work with Serbia to achieve it.
