DAVID MILIBAND CONDEMNS SUICIDE ATTACK IN ISRAEL (04/02/08)

'I utterly condemn this morning's suicide attack in Dimona. There can be no justification for this deliberate attack on civilians. My thoughts are with the families of the victims and those injured.

'Today’s attack, the first in Israel for a year, aimed to undermine the peace process. Terrorist atrocities must not deflect us from our shared goal of just and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians based on a two state solution.

'The UK continues to support those leaders whose commitments at Annapolis and since have given Palestinian and Israelis the first glimmer of hope in seven years. We must continue to together to stop extremists from achieving their goal of escalating violence and preventing progress.'
