Every effort has been made to make the lists of UN, EU, OSCE and UK sanctions measures as complete as possible at the time of publication. However the lists should not be relied upon as comprehensive especially as measures are subject to change and the lists refer only to current measures and do not include a full historical account. Persons affected should seek their own legal advice.

NOTES:

The term 'EU' is used throughout although some of the measures listed were adopted before the entry into force of the Maastricht Treaty under the auspices of European Political Cooperation (EPC).
