Ensuring the safety of everyone who comes into contact with health services is one of the most important challenges facing health care today.
The report “Safety First” recommended establishing a National Patient Safety Forum to influence the development of the patient safety agenda and to facilitate its delivery. The Forum brings together senior representatives of key organisations to be the national conscience of patient safety.
