Do I have to register?

You do not have to register to book a hospital appointment.

You will have to register if you want to use the HealthSpace online personal health organiser.

HealthSpace is free and it only takes a few minutes to register.

What is my Summary Care Record?

Your Summary Care Record contains:

your demographic information - such as your name, address and NHS number.

a summary of your important health information - current medication, allergies and bad reactions to medication.

You may wish to check your Summary Care Record is accurate and up-to-date.

Anyone living in England, aged 16 or over, with a valid email address can register for a HealthSpace account.

There may be a period of time between you opening an Advanced Account and your GP practice creating your Summary Care Record.
