Current Arrangements and Requirements for the Conditioning, Packaging and Storage of Intermediate Level Radioactive Waste:

Report of a Joint Study by the Radioactive Waste Management Advisory Committee and the Nuclear Safety Advisory Committee (NuSAC)

This report sets out the findings of a joint RWMAC-NuSAC study. The aim of the study was to establish whether there are currently clear and sensible aims and objectives for the conditioning, packaging and storage of UK ILW and whether these are accepted by all key players, clearly set out and universally applied and, if this is not the case, to identify the problems likely to arise and suitable measures to address them.
