  • National Centre for Independent Living - a resource on independent living, direct payments and individual budgets for disabled people.

  • NHFA Care Fees Advice - advice about financial support available to help pay for your chosen type of care.

Your local voluntary services council and your local council will also have a list of organisations that can help, for example if you are from an ethnic-minority group.
