Inspecting for better lives
Find out about CSCI's inspection system.
The inspection system we use is called Inspecting for
Better Lives. It puts people who use care services and
their views at the heart of how we judge the quality of those
services.
The system allows us to:
- include people who use services in our inspection teams
- arrive without notice (unannounced) and carry out an
inspection
- focus on improving the poorest services
- be tough on care providers which fail to meet minimum
standards
- make our reports easy for everyone to find and read.
