RSS feeds

RSS feeds, also known as web feeds, offered by the Healthcare Commission.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated information in a standardised format. The RSS feed allows you to stay up-to-date with the latest news from Healthcare Commission.

How do I use it?

The first thing you need is an RSS news reader. There are many different readers - most are free - some are downloadable, some are web based. Firefox 2.0, Safari 2.0 and IE7 are web browsers with integrated news readers.

You can subscribe to our RSS feed in several different ways depending on which news reader you have. You need to return to the Healthcare Commission's homepage, then:

  • Drag the orange RSS button into your News Reader
  • Drag the URL of the RSS feed into your News Reader
  • Cut and paste the URL of the RSS feed into your News Reader
