The committee will meet two or three times a year, mostly in central London.
It is important that employer views are represented on the committee and our aim is to ensure that the representation on these groups reflects diversity of management interests in the NHS and geographical spread. We are looking for senior NHS managers to join the committee who have a strategic knowledge of the NHS and an understanding of human resources/NHS workforce and NHS financial issues.
In order to ensure that the balance of membership is right, we will take account of:
- Your previous experience of involvement in national or local negotiations in the NHS or other sectors
- The extent to which you would be able to commit sufficient time to attend meetings or contribute to the work of the group
Representatives from NHS Foundation Trusts would be particularly welcome.
Please note that our expectation is that the costs of travelling expenses for attending meetings will ordinarily be met by your employing organisation.
