We aim to provide a platform for NHS staff and key organisational partners such as Department of Health (DH), NHS Professionals and NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) to discuss flexible or contingency staffing issues and help determine the priorities for national work programmes.
The focus of the programme, as with its predecessor the Temporary Staffing programme, will be on the quality of staff, availability - both supply and demand factors - and value for money.
The programme is supported by a flexible workforce forum which will meet on a regular basis and feedback on key issues through this website. We will also update NHS staff on key legislative or employment changes affecting flexible staffing arrangements.
