The Environment in your Pocket
The twelfth edition of the Environment in your pocket 2008, which focuses strongly on the theme of climate change, is published on 11th December 2008.
The Environment in your pocket is a handy, free of charge, pocket-sized distillation of around 60 key data series largely from the e- Digest of Environmental Statistics website. Through it we aim to make environmental statistics accessible to wider and different audiences.
The publication also draws upon the UK Government Sustainable Development Strategy indicators. The full set of indicators has been published in 'Sustainable Development indicators in your pocket 2008' and on the Defra sustainable development website.
We have revised the way in which the data series are presented, and increased the size of the text.
Copies of this publication are available in an A6 pocket size version (product code: PB13185) and a larger print A4 size version (product code: PB13185A) which has the same content, bur larger text and charts.
