With support from the Office of the Third Sector, the Young Foundation’s Health Launchpad is recruiting a ‘Social Entrepreneur in Residence’ for Birmingham East and North PCT.
The ‘Social Entrepreneur in Residence’ will detect opportunities to develop ventures; broker projects; secure new income; forge alliances across professional silos and bring a fresh perspective to the PCT’s strategic commissioning options.
Birmingham East and North PCT aims to invest in a number of sustainable innovative ventures that meet the health and social care needs of the Birmingham community.
The entrepreneur will be part of Health Launchpad, an incubator at The Young Foundation that promotes innovation in health by investing in social ventures that have the potential to make a lasting impact on the challenges facing health and social care. This is the first of a number of ‘Social Entrepreneurs in Residence’ that that Health Launchpad hopes to appoint across a number of PCTs in the coming year.
