There are many reasons to be proud of living or working in Brent and we have taken a look at some of the people and initiatives that help to make Brent a better place.


For example, the many volunteers who give their time to St Luke's Hospice or the founder of Daniel's Den parent-toddler group who has seen her work recognised by the Brent Community Champion Awards.


Our own Rajan Anand is helping to improve services for children and young people in the borough while foster carers give their time and love to help those vulnerable youngsters in need.
