The Recruitment Process

After you apply

Once we receive your application form, we will contact you within two weeks and tell you if you are to be invited to an assessment centre. Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications we receive, we cannot provide feedback on applications that are not put through to the next stage.

A chance to meet with us

Before the assessment we will offer you an invitation to come and meet us and to ask about our work. This is an opportunity to find out what we are like and to confirm that you are interested in working with us. It will not involve an interview, it is simply a chance for you to ask about us.

Assessment Centre

We will invite up to eight candidates for assessment at a time. We ask you to work on a case study exercise on your own, and to undertake a mathematics test. You will also take part in an interview and may be asked to undertake a role play exercise. The assessment process typically takes a whole day, and we will provide lunch where you will have an opportunity to meet other staff who work in our Newcastle office.

Within seven days of our assessment centre, you'll usually know our decision.
