Catchment Flood Management Plans

Find out how we will manage the risk of flooding in a catchment over the next 50 to 100 years.

What are Catchment Flood Management Plans?

The main aims of our Catchment Flood Management Plans are to:

  • understand the factors that contribute to flood risk within a catchment both now and in the future;
  • recommend the best ways of managing the risk of flooding within the catchment over the next 50 to 100 years.

Catchment Flood Management Plans consultations in England have now closed

Following extensive consultation CFMPs in England have now been finalised.  We are now considering the most effective way to communicate the outputs from this work.
