The report includes a short foreword from Hilary Benn and an executive summary from Permanent Secretary Helen Ghosh, setting out Defra’s main achievements and the challenges facing the Department.

Autumn performance report

Autumn performance report 2008The Defra 2008 Autumn Performance Report was published on 15 December 2008.

The report is published in late autumn each year as part of our reporting process. It reviews our progress towards achieving our targets since the publication of the Departmental Report in May.

The 2008 report shows we continue to make good progress in achieving our aims and objectives and are well placed to continue this with our new suite of targets developed as part of the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review. It also describes our refinements to our priorities and Departmental Strategic Objectives following the creation of DECC.
