The Veterinary Residues Committee’s (VRC) 2008 Annual Report on the surveillance of veterinary residues in food in the UK is now available online. The report details the checks that have been done for a range of residues of veterinary medicines in food.

The Food Standards Agency has launched new Safer food, better business (SFBB) teaching resources for catering colleges. The resources, developed in partnership with Northampton Catering College and Highfield.co.uk are intended to promote understanding of SFBB among catering students.
