Target acquision group using MSTAR

Information is power, and the Army has the most powerful information systems around. Commanders must be able to talk to their units - at all times - whether it's by voice or data, satellite link or landline. Our IT specialists make sure we (and no one else) have access to the information we need to win.

  • Communications

Modern electronic communications systems are the means of receiving and sending information to and from any part of the battlefield

  • Satellite Communications

The Royal Signals are responsible for the provision of all of the Army's tactical satellite ground terminals which, in conjunction with the SKYNET military satellite constellation, can provide high quality, high bandwidth communications links.
