Royal Engineers Careers

Soldier, Combat Engineer and Tradesman equals a Royal Engineer

The Corps of Royal Engineers is unique within the British Army in that it offers recruits three jobs in one.

You will first be trained as a soldier before training as a Combat Engineer, where you will receive an education in military engineering and construction.  You will then go on to specialise in a trade.

Find out where you could fit into the Royal Engineers, the Army's specialist builders, movers and enablers.

No matter which path you take, you will become a tradesman or woman confident in your role and the work you carry out, with the opportunity to gain a set of qualifications recognised throughout the civilian world.
