  • Officer

    As an officer in the Royal Air Force, you’ll be expected to lead from the front. In every aspect of your work, you will set the standard.

  • Airmen/airwomen

    The majority of RAF personnel are airmen and airwomen, who work in ground support roles using specialist skills.

  • Regiment

    The Regiment are the RAF’s specialist fighting force, protecting people, aircraft and bases around the world.

  • NC Aircrew

    Some non-commissioned staff have flying roles such as Weapon Systems Operator. These are known as non-commissioned aircrew.
