Fitness challenge

Are you ready to take on the RAF fitness challenge? Sports and exercise is a massive part of forces life, so we’re well qualified to help whip you into shape for 2010!

RAF personnel are required to reach and maintain a good level of fitness throughout their career, and by following our expert advice, you can do the same.

Start by downloading our exclusive Fitness widget. It features a variety of training programs that have been developed by the RAF’s Physical Training Instructors. Featuring the same exercises and activities we use for our own personnel, it offers you an easy-to-follow guide to getting and staying fit.

We’ve also created an Online Progress Tracker to help keep you motivated. Simply enter your training start date and each time you visit your daily fitness plan will be waiting for you. The tracker automatically remembers your start date so you’ll only have to enter your details once.

Get fit, stay fit, have fun!

With over 45 sports clubs available in the RAF there’s more motivation to keep your fitness levels up. We have teams and training facilities for everything from rugby to running clubs and we’re dedicated to providing the best support we can. In addition, there’s also over 100 adventurous activities to take part in, many of them overseas. Check out our sports and expeditions page to find out more.

Want to know more about RAF fitness standards? The requirements differ depending on what role you’re applying for, so take a look at our training page to find out more.
