Industry Affiliate Program

The Industry Affiliate Program offers companies a unique opportunity to collaborate with MIT faculty, students, and researchers working at the forefront of computer science and artificial intelligence research. Members of the Industry Affiliate Program are given unparalleled access to new technologies and ideas as they move from laboratory to marketplace.

Members Benefits:

Annual Conference - An annual two-day CSAIL IAP conference exclusively designed for our Affiliate members. The program includes activities such as: presentations by CSAIL faculty and researchers on the latest research results; student poster sessions; lab tours; demonstrations; discussions on grand challenges, applications, and technology roadmaps; and opportunities to meet and network with CSAIL researchers, students and colleagues.

Research Monitoring - Throughout the year CSAIL will provide Affiliates with various ways to stay engaged with CSAIL. This may include seminars, talks and virtual meetings. When feasible these events will be broadcast live for our IAP member companies, so participants can join in remotely to hear from different thought leaders at CSAIL and keep informed about the latest research. Companies also have access to the members-only IAP web site, which contains information about research outcomes, CSAIL events, and video and publication archives.

Graduate Student Recruiting - CSAIL will organize events, including the Annual Meeting, during which representatives from affiliate members have access to soon-to-be-graduating students to facilitate recruiting. We will work with our member companies to facilitate recruiting activities throughout the year including advertising job announcements; hosting tech talks and seminars; and other student targeted networking events.

Occasional Visits - Member companies may arrange visits to CSAIL from time to time. Visits enable previews of CSAIL's research programs and results and demonstrations of emerging technologies. CSAIL can work with member companies to identify appropriate CSAIL researchers, ongoing projects, and potential opportunities for collaboration.

Joint Research Projects- Member companies have opportunities to engage with CSAIL in research projects and collaborations to deployable technology.
