Or the e-mail address quoted on any letter sent by us in relation to the appeal.
You should quote the appeal reference if you know what it is. If you don't know, please quote the appellant's name and site address.
Planning Appeals (S78)
Use this form if your planning application has been: refused, not decided within the appropriate period (usually 8 weeks), or granted subject to conditions to which you object. Use it also if your application for approval of reserved matters has been refused or granted subject to conditions to which you object. Or any other matter required by a condition attached to a previous planning permission has been refused, If you made a Householder planning application, and it has been refused, you should appeal online using our Householder appeal form.
You can submit your appeal online or on paper. We are sorry but we are unable to offer you the option of printing a blank form from this site. This is because we use scanning equipment to extract information from the forms and this can be affected by (a) the way that your printer positions information on the paper, and (b) the ability of the scanning software to deal with handwriting.

Appeal Questionnaire
For use by local planning authorities in planning and listed building/conservation area consent appeals. The questionnaire provides vital information relating to the appeal.
There is now a facility to submit the questionnaire online for cases being handled using the Planning Casework Service. Please see the information on Appeal Questionnaires on the Planning Portal.
Advertisement Appeals
Appeal Form
The appeal period is 8 weeks from the receipt of the local planning authorities' decision notice. This form should also be used for appeals against the service of a Discontinuance Notice

Certificate of lawful use or development Appeal
Appeal Form
Use this form if your application for a lawful development certificate has been refused, refused in part, or not decided within the appropriate period (usually 8 weeks).

Enforcement Notice Appeals (S174)
Appeal Form
Use this form if you have been served with an enforcement notice. (Please note there is a separate form for listed building/conservation area notices – see below).

Attendance Sheet / Request for a copy of the Inspector's and Secretary of State's Decision
These forms are used by members of the public attending an inquiry or hearing to ask for a copy of the Inspector's or Secretary of State's decision. Local authorities should make copies available at the start of the inquiry or hearing and the forms should be handed to the Inspector at the end.

Listed Building Consent Guidance Notes and Ownership Certificates
You may need to refer to these when completing the Listed Building consent/Conservation Area Consent appeal form. They explain about the four different types of certificate and include a copy of the notice that you may need to serve on the owners of the building or publish in a newspaper.
Listed Building or Conservation Area Enforcement Notice Appeal Form (S39)
Use this form if you have been served with an enforcement notice relating to a listed building, or the notice relates to the demolition of an unlisted building in a conservation area.
