Farm animal genomics review

BBSRC launched a consultation on future priorities on farm animal genomics and genetics research in the UK in 2004.
Professor Cheryll Tickle, University of Dundee, chaired a panel that oversaw the process and asked stakeholders including industry, public and NGOs such as animal welfare groups to comment on their priorities for research, utilisation and funding of farm animal genomics. Panel members also attended two discussion meetings to discuss the issues arising from the consultation with various stakeholders.
