Help us improve health outcomes

Have your say

  • NHS Outcomes Framework (opens new window)

We want your views and help in developing the NHS Outcomes Framework, so that together we can give control back to patients and clinicians by focusing on improved health outcomes.

The Framework will set out national outcome goals that will provide an indication of the overall performance of the NHS. These outcome goals will also mean patients, the public and Parliament can hold the Secretary of State for Health to account for the performance of the NHS. The Secretary of State can also use these goals to hold the new NHS Commissioning Board to account.

Mental Health

Broadening the focus of mental health from improving services, to include public mental health and mental well-being.

Suspension of Avandia (opens new window)

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has today recommended that the use of Avandia be suspended because the benefits no longer outweigh the risks.

Valuing People Now
