HACCP Assessment training for enforcement officers

HACCP Assessment update training is available to local authority food law enforcement officers in England. The course is part of the continuing programme of quality update training for enforcers at a cost that is affordable to local authorities.
The course is not available for the general public, students or consultants.
The Agency has agreed the following dates with the course provider for 2006-07, which have not yet been booked by Food Liaison Groups, with further dates to possibly follow:
- 15 - 17 March 2006
- 24 - 2 May 2006
- 12 - 14 July 2006
- 20 - 22 September 2006
- 22 - 24 November 2006
- 24 - 26 January 2007
- 14 - 16 March 2007
Food Liaison Groups consist of representatives from local authority environmental health departments in England, usually on a county basis, and are concerned with consistency of enforcement activities in their area.

The Agency also funds locally run Lead Auditor courses, provided by tutors that are fully accredited by the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA). These courses are subsidised by up to 50%, providing a 5-day residential course for under
