Livestock Partnership

Welsh Assembly Government

Livestock Partnership

The Livestock Partnership was launched by Animal Health in April 2007 as a programme of work aiming to reform livestock identification and tracing through simplifying processes and systems.

The programme will be taken forward on a GB basis (although there may eventually be some differences in implementation across Wales, England and Scotland). It will be delivered in Wales through a new kind of partnership between the livestock industry and the Welsh Assembly Government.

One priority is to encourage those using the systems to have influence in shaping their future operation.

More information on the Livestock Partnership is available from the Animal Health website (external link).
