This simple but delicious drink is best served ice cold as soon as it's made

Ingredients

switch to imperial

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 275ml semi-skimmed milk
  • crushed ice

Method

  1. Whizz the banana and milk in a blender for 10-15 seconds until smooth. Then simply pour over crushed ice and serve in a tall glass.

  2. If you don’t have a blender, try mashing the banana in the bowl with a fork and then whisk with the milk until smooth.



Other options

If you have a sweet tooth, instead of crushed ice, try adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream before whisking.
